This traditional 1970s residence underwent a thoughtful renovation focused on reimagining both the front entry and rear elevation. The project introduced a new master bedroom addition, designed with a distinctly modern identity and a flat roof that contrasts deliberately with the original structure while remaining well integrated.
At the rear of the home, the family room was opened to a full-height wall of windows, allowing natural light to flood the interior and strengthening the connection to the outdoors. Inside, the ceiling was raised to align with the kitchen volume, creating a greater sense of height and openness.
These architectural interventions transformed the kitchen into a light-filled, contemporary space, updating the home’s character while preserving its original footprint. The result is a balanced renovation that brings modern clarity and spatial generosity to a once-traditional house.
